Pre-Construction
Successful projects start by listening and understanding. When we understand project objectives, we can establish ways to achieve them and deliver a project at the best value. We believe that slow is smooth and smooth is fast. By being involved on the front end of the project development, we will work with the design team to validate budgets, provide insight on alternate products, understand means and methods, and identify cost/schedule impact concerns.
Our team works with the designers, subcontractors, and product specialists to understand all information so that the client can make selections that best suit their needs. We will identify items that require early procurement. When needed, we will offer alternate solutions that maintain the design intent, project budget, and work with the schedule. We will use comparative analysis and technology, such as Procore, On-Screen Takeoff and Bluebeam, to ensure that our partners provide the best value and fully capture the intended scope of work.
Hannan Construction begins projects with site-specific safety plans that address safety concerns before they become issues. We believe that this is paramount to a successful project. Our team members are asked to work hard and trust that Hannan Construction will provide a well run jobsite. Trust is not taken lightly, and we hold ourselves accountable to provide a clean, safe, and efficient job site. During the enabling phase, we take measures to protect building systems, install adequate construction lighting, provide temporary power, and setup adequate operation facilities to maintain daily operations and receive material deliveries.
Construction
A successful transition from Preconstruction to Construction saves time and money. We hit the ground running by making sure the site is ready for demolition on the first day of construction. The momentum is maintained by proper workflow direction so that subsequent tasks can be started early. Starting tasks early enables the team to balance trade efficiencies with the schedule needs of long lead items. By orchestrating this path of continuous activity, our team delivers projects faster. Our superintendents are always a step ahead of the subcontractors. They are proactively looking ahead and around corners to understand assembly and ask questions before trades need answers.
At Hannan Construction, we establish solutions with trade knowledge. We find that the design team can provide answers quicker when coupled with a realistic solution. Weekly owner’s meetings are conducted to keep the team updated and on track with project progress. Similarly, subcontractor meetings are held weekly to discuss safety, schedule, and coordination. Site leadership conducts foreman huddles each morning to address daily safety topics, ensure subcontractor needs are being met, and coordinate upcoming activities. At Hannan Construction, we involve the client’s vendors in the construction process and do everything in our power to help them be efficient and successful.
Day One success is achieved when all vendors are ready for the client to use the space for the intended purpose. This takes true leadership. We manage inanimate objects like materials and labor hours, but we lead people with trust and respect. It is amazing how hard a team works when there is true trust and respect.
Close-Out
At Hannan Construction the first order of business is to make sure that all punch list items are completed. We use technology such as Bluebeam and Procore to ensure the efficient completion of all items. We take great pride in maintaining correct as-built drawings and capturing all product data so that you have accurate records for future work. This starts during the submittal process and ends when the space is turned over for end use.
It is important to Hannan Construction that you receive training on your new space so that you can get the most out of your investment. All of the documentation is provided to you digitally for your reference, and you have the assurance that we are only a call away to answer any questions. You are important to us, and we will be there for all of your future needs.
