Siemens engaged Hannan to completely overhaul its 80,000 SF headquarters’ second floor under its “New Way of Working” (NWOW) standards. The goal: To replace the dark and dingy aesthetics of years past with the open, light-filled standards of the modern age.

The Challenge
Transforming an existing corporate space into a new, brightly lit space fit for a global headquarters took careful thought. From stripping out old finishes and reworking infrastructure to entire renovations of the restrooms and break-room overhauls, the project involved enhancement throughout the massive space. In phase two, the lobby demanded new security standards and custom treatments, as well.
The Results
The renovation delivered a bright, modern workplace aligned with Siemen’s NWOW standards. Offices are now glass-fronted and open, restrooms and break spaces are fully updated, and collaboration zones shine. The new lobby anchors the space with high-end finishes. Other highlights include:
- A dramatic cantilevered, three-story staircase
- Custom stainless steel handrails and finishes
- New stained millwork and reception desk
