As a world leader in rolled aluminum and recycling, Novelis needed a headquarters expansion to match its global impact. They tasked Hannan with a project meant to blend collaboration, flexibility, and design innovation—all across 120,000 SF in Alliance Garden Terrace and Two Alliance Center.

The Challenge
Coordinating a simultaneous 45,000 SF new build and a 75,000 SF restack across occupied floors required meticulous phasing and logistics. Installing glass walls and rolling doors alongside varied ceilings and custom millwork—all in active work areas—challenged access and acoustics. The team also had to maintain productivity and keep on schedule while limiting disruption.
The Results
The result is a cohesive, Class A workplace that blends daylight-filled collaboration zones, aluminum-slatted ceilings, and sleek aesthetics throughout. The phased occupied renovation delivered reconfigured open offices, conference and executive rooms, and enhanced break spaces. Other highlights include:
