The Challenge
In 2018, JLL engaged Hannan Construction to complete its Southeast regional headquarters. The vision: Renovate an occupied multi-story office into an inspiring space with open offices, flex zones, lounges, gathering areas, a conference center—and a striking interconnecting staircase—all while ensuring operations went uninterrupted.
The Results
The new regional HQ combines elegance and function in a fully modern, collaborative workspace. Despite challenges that came with modifying a post-tensioned concrete structure, multiple long lead times, and working in an occupied space, the finished project was completed on time and on budget. Highlights include:
- Monumental stair erected over an existing stair
- Use of reclaimed materials and custom millwork
- Custom red-panel and wood walls
