Projects – General Assembly

Hannan Construction was selected to complete the General Assembly computer training facility located in Ponce City Market (PCM). The project encompassed 18,000 SF of PCM, the adaptive reuse project that revitalized the vacant Sears Roebuck & Company building in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward. This project presented challenges expected from a building originally constructed in 1926, such as extensive remediation of asbestos and other hazardous materials. Utilizing the original massive windows, an open floor plan, and open ceilings, Hannan Construction turned over a bright and inviting workspace which included collaboration areas, small team rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, and individual workspaces, all while maintaining attractive historic elements.
