During the enabling phase, we take measures to protect building systems, install adequate construction lighting, provide temporary power, and setup adequate operation facilities to maintain daily operations and receive material deliveries.

We understand that no two projects or industries are exactly alike. For each project we take on, we assemble a team with experience specific to your type of build. This means we are already familiar with the specialized building codes (like for healthcare), potential logistical challenges (like occupied office renovations), specialized subcontractor networks (like industrial equipment installers), and the operational demands that matter most to your business post-construction.

Clear, consistent communication is the foundation of our service. You will be assigned a dedicated Project Manager who will serve as your single point of contact from pre-construction to closeout. Your Hannan project manager establishes a formal communication plan at the project kickoff, which includes weekly progress reports, regularly scheduled OAC (Owner, Architect, Contractor) meetings, and 24/7 access to our cloud-based Procore project management portal providing real-time access to daily logs, photos, budget tracking, and scheduling.

While we are proud of our Atlanta roots, our operational footprint is built for the Southeast. Licensed in Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas and Tennessee we have a robust, pre-qualified network of subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners throughout the region. For projects outside metro Atlanta, our project management team works in tandem with trusted, on-the-ground local talent. Whether the project is in the metro Atlanta region or anywhere in the Southeast, we commit that you will receive our high standards for safety, quality, and project management.

Hannan’s “sweet spot” is for projects in the $500,000 to $5 million range for clients that come to us with a complete set of plans and specifications that rely on us for our expertise in complex projects. From mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to challenging site logistics, and aggressive schedules, Hannan is the team clients rely on across repeat projects. While we have the bonding capacity and team to handle larger projects, these project sizes allow us to provide principal and management-level involvement and oversight to serve our clients.

Our philosophy on value engineering is centered on value, not just cost-cutting. It’s not about swapping a specified material for a cheaper, inferior one. Instead, our creative and analytical review of systems, materials, and methods find more efficient solutions that maintain or even enhance the design intent and performance of your building and systems. This could mean suggesting an alternative structural system that speeds up the project schedule or a more energy-efficient HVAC unit that reduces long-term operating costs.

A successful project ends with a smooth transition to your operational team. We manage all final inspections, provide comprehensive as-built drawings, and compile a detailed turnover package with all operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals and warranties. We also provide walkthroughs and training for your facility’s staff on new building systems. Every project is backed by a standard one-year warranty, and we assign a dedicated contact for any post-construction needs, ensuring we remain your partner long after we hand over the keys. We do this because it is the right way to do business and because we know this will likely not be our last project together.
